EVENT CATERING WAIT STAFF (FULL TIME)

Location: Carroll University, 101 North East Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186

Schedule: Full time; flexible. Days and hours may vary.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Assembles, delivers, sets up, and serves food and beverages to guests at on-premise and off-premise events.

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Sets buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to pre-established standards.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans and packs dishes and utensils.
• Returns un-served foods, beverages, and service equipment to the Commissary.
• Ensures display foods are merchandised attractively according to pre-established standards.
• Handles food items appropriately during preparation.
• Serves food neatly and attractively according to pre-established standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of display equipment during meal service.
• Cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving the area.
• Assists with food and table prep before events begin.
• Serves plated dinners to guests and responds to requests for beverages, appetizers, and other needs.
• Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, opens wine and takes drink orders.
• Clears venue after event ends and assists with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Previous banquet and serving experience is preferred.
• Must meet applicable state and local health requirements for food handlers.

Because this position requires performance in an educational facility, there may be periods during which you do not perform work on the Company’s behalf. These periods may be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff. Depending on business needs, you may be required to work year-round, potentially at a different location during break periods.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
