ABOUT

THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and safety-biased Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical systems, including high-voltage distribution and industrial control systems. This role is critical to support aggressive growth and ensuring the continuous and safe operation of our machinery and facility infrastructure. The position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, ability to work independently, and as a part of a team.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

* Perform preventive electrical maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime andensure optimal performance.

* Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor control centers (MCCs), and instrumentation.

* Read, interpret, and use complex industrial electrical schematics, blueprints, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals.

* Ensure all work is performed in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Wisconsin electrical codes.

* Work with a variety of specialized tools and diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters, meggers, and oscilloscopes, to diagnose and repair electrical faults.

* Install and maintain conduit, wiring, and electrical apparatus in a heavy industrial environment.

* Collaborate with engineers, maintenance team, contractors, and production staff to identify and resolve electrical issues and support plant modifications or upgrades.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

* Must hold a valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License (Class

B) or Master Electrician License (Class

A).

* Proven experience as an electrician in industrial setting, such as a chemical plant, power plant, or wastewater treatment facility.

* Strong understanding of industrial control systems, instrumentation, motor control, and power distribution.

* Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and blueprints.

* Demonstrated commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of NFPA 70E guidelines for working on and around energized equipment.

* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including confined spaces and at heights.

* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

* Willingness to work on evening shift, frequent weekends, and/or on-call basis for emergency repairs, as needed.
