Logistics Specialist – Managed Transportation

A growing supply chain solutions provider is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support its Managed Transportation Services (MTS) team. This role is central to ensuring seamless shipment execution, data accuracy, and proactive communication across carriers, suppliers, and customers. With a focus on efficiency, cost savings, and continuous improvement, you’ll help optimize end-to-end transportation performance while delivering excellent service.

As part of the Managed Transportation team, you will coordinate freight activity, schedule shipments, and ensure on-time performance through accurate data entry and real-time communication. You’ll act as the link between customers, carriers, and internal teams, developing process improvements and driving both cost savings and revenue growth.

• Manage daily transportation operations including scheduling, shipment tracking, and data entry.
• Ensure accurate load details and timely updates to customers and carriers.
• Proactively resolve service issues to keep shipments on track.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Build strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customer contacts.
• Support revenue and savings goals within Managed Transportation Services.
• Must be ONSITE in Waukesha at the client.

Required:

• At least 3 years of experience in Logistics & Supply Chain
• Knowledge of LTL, Truckload, FTL & Flatbed

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
