Your RoleAre you an energetic and upbeat technician with a passion for problem-solving? We’re looking for someone like you! As a Master Automotive Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in diagnosing and fixing vehicles while ensuring our guests receive the best service possible.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize your skills to diagnose and repair vehicles for our guests.
- Gain experience working on a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to troubleshoot guest concerns efficiently.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding any concerns.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to solve problems and deliver outstanding results.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in high-level diagnostic work.
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve Master L1, A Tech preferred.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and ability to read schematics.
- Willingness to work 50-60 hours per week.
- A desire for long-term career development.
- Must be able to work on and diagnose all makes and models.
- Own toolbox and tools are required.
- Valid driver's license and insurable status.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Low comeback rate and a team-oriented mindset.
- Positive attitude and coachability.
- High proficiency with technology and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate work done on vehicles clearly through electronic means.
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Stand for most of the shift and perform tasks like crouching, squatting, and kneeling.
- Navigate tight spaces as needed for repairs.
- Possess dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles and efficiently navigate a computer.
