Business Communication Solutions (BCS) is hiring a first-shift Inserter Operator to join our production team in Waunakee. You'll work in a clean, air-conditioned facility, operating equipment that prepares important customer documents for mailing. This role is a good fit for someone who pays attention to details and takes pride in getting the job done accurately. We provide paid training to help you learn our equipment and production processes.

First Shift is 6 am - 2 pm.

• Set up and operate high-speed inserting equipment that places documents into envelopes.
• Follow job instructions to ensure each mailing contains the correct materials.
• Check quality throughout production and address issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Complete work orders and production records accurately to support billing and postage reconciliation.
• Monitor postage meters and notify your supervisor when funds need replenishing.
• Handle and store materials properly before and after each job.
• Assist with hand inserting and other production tasks as needed.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Work with your team to meet production schedules and identify improvements.

• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions.
• Dependable attendance and clear communication.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Availability to work required ten-hour shifts one week each month and mandatory weekends when needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience operating inserters or working in mail production is a plus.
