The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships within the territory. This position plays a key role in generating new business, maintaining existing accounts, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction for all ready-mix concrete products and services provided by Advanced Concrete, Inc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Develop new business opportunities through cold calls, job site visits, and networking
- Prepare bids, estimates, and proposals for projects
- Monitor project progress to ensure product quality and delivery schedules meet customer expectations
- Communicate effectively with operations, dispatch, and drivers to ensure smooth coordination
- Maintain accurate customer and project records within company CRM systems
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
- Stay current with local construction trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
- Participating in community and industry events to promote company visibility
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
, ideally in the construction or ready-mix industry - Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to read blueprints or construction plans is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel & financial management
- Minimum 3 years in a related sales field or direct ready mix industry experience
- Advanced knowledge of concrete industry
