• Utilize blueprints and other customer‑supplied documents to check conformity of product to geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
• Perform inspection of set‑up, in process, and final piece parts. Effectively communicate discrepancies to appropriate areas.
• Gather SPC data and determine process capability.
• Maintain quality control standards and procedures. Instruct operators when necessary.
• Communicate opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain all fixtures and tooling in the QC Department.
• Attend training courses or seminars and assist project teams when required.
• Resolve quality issues with customers and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Responsible for source inspection and customer audits.

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ previous experience in the Quality Field as a Technician, Inspector, SPC Coordinator, or Quality Lead Person.
• Machining experience a plus.
• Proficiency in:
  Microsoft Office, Mechanical Inspection, Blueprint reading (GD&T), SPC data, CAD Software, Gauge Calibration, Military Standards, Machining knowledge, Visual Comparators, CMM.

Duties are performed in a manufacturing plant environment. Lifting to 50 lbs. Hearing protection and eye protection are required and provided on the manufacturing floor. Safety‑toe footwear must comply with ANSI Standard ANSI Z41‑1991 (see policy), no loose clothing, hair, or accessories. Observe all safety regulations of the department and the plant.
