Delivery/Installation/Service Technician – BITTER NEUMANN APPLIANCE FURNITURE MATTRESS

Location:

Waupaca

We are seeking a skilled Delivery, Installation and Repair Technician to join our team in Waupaca. In this role, you will travel to customers’ homes and businesses, install new appliances, furniture and mattresses, and diagnose and repair existing products. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. Customer satisfaction is a top priority.

The job entails 60% delivery and installation and 40% service and repair.

Responsibilities
  • Safely transport and deliver appliances, furniture, and mattresses to customer locations.
  • Install and set up products according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and installation processes.
  • Inspect products for damages and report any issues prior to installation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
  • Assist in inventory management and warehouse operations as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
  • Teach homeowners how to operate their appliances, furniture and mattresses.
  • Evaluate and diagnose home appliance and furniture problems.
  • Estimate the costs of appliance and furniture repair.
  • Repair appliances and furniture.
  • Adhere to manufacturer recommendations.
  • Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
  • Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
  • Present bills and collect payments for items delivered.
  • Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
  • Sell products from truck inventory and keep records of sales.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items and perform physical tasks regularly.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Mechanical skills for product installation and repair.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or as an Appliance Repair Technician is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
