Office Services and Mail Clerk – Onsite position at United Health Group.
Location:
115 W WAUSAU AVE, WAUSAU, WI 54401.
As an Office Services and Mail Clerk, you will be at the heart of our administrative workflow, handling sensitive documents, processing live checks with precision, and ensuring timely and secure distribution of mail and records.
Primary Responsibilities- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments
- Handle and process live checks with 100% accuracy, including scanning and secure documentation
- Perform accurate data entry and update tracking systems for mail and package deliveries
- Digitize and archive important documents, ensuring accessibility and compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate mail and document handling
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to data security and mailroom operations
- High School Diploma / GED or 2+ years of equivalent experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and ability to learn new applications
- Ability to work onsite at 115 W. WAUSAU AVE., WAUSAU, WI
- Ability to work any full‑time shift between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm CST from Monday to Friday, including occasional overtime and weekends as business needs arise
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience in a mailroom setting
- Typing/data entry experience
- Ability to type at the speed of 60+ WPM (words per minute)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Adaptability in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

The hourly rate for this role will range from $16.00 to $24.23, based on full‑time employment. Pay is based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other factors. All salaries comply with applicable wage laws.
