Blue Jay Dental has a client with a need for a general dentist to start immediately in Wausau, WI working at a large growing private practice.

This job was verified to be open as of 4/5/25. The practice is located in a beautiful State of the Art building on the top of the hill in Wausau, overlooking the town.

The office has 11 operatories, with a surgical suite for placing implants. Six operatories are used for operative work and five operatories are filled with hygienists. Everyday has a minimum of five hygienists. The practice is producing over $7 million per year in production and the lead dentist is passionate about dentistry and teaches advanced dentistry skills to new dentists, including implant placement and posterior endodontics.

The office is equipped with everything needed to perform oral surgery, endo, and implant placement. On-site mentorship and guidance are available. The owning dentist is an elite implant-placing dentist and is willing to mentor the right dentist.

The office has computers in every operatory with TVs on the ceiling for patient viewing. There is a well-seasoned team of administrators that can keep the schedule booked to maximum efficiency, top-notch assistants who have been groomed to perform at a very high level, and hygienists who have excellent co-diagnosis skills. Current office hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Fridays from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Doctors' schedules are maxed out at 32 hours per week.
