Physician - Primary Care​/Wausau, WI

Recruiting for Two (2) experienced and highly qualified Board Certified or Board Eligible physicians for the Primary Care Clinic at the Wausau Community‑Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The clinic operates from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The Chief of Primary Care will assign clinical duties and provide professional direction.

The physicians will be granted clinical privileges based on their specific expertise and are expected to commence work immediately following orientation. They must work cooperatively with other physicians, advanced practice nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, administrative staff, and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive care to veteran patients.

The medical center uses a computerized medical record system; physicians must be familiar with personal computers, possess adequate keyboard skills for data entry (progress notes, physician orders, history and physicals, discharge summaries), and be able to navigate Windows‑based programs. Training on the system will be provided.
