Job SummaryThis full‑time faculty position will support instruction for Northcentral Technical College’s (NTC) Dental Therapy program. The role will supervise and teach Dental Therapy students in NTC’s on‑site dental clinic through clinical enrichment experiences while staying familiar with the program’s objectives, content, instructional methods, and evaluation procedures. The individual will work 44 weeks out of 52 weeks per year. The position is in‑person on campus in Wausau, Wisconsin.
The College seeks team‑oriented, student‑focused individuals who value education. Faculty report to a designated dean and participate in program, school, interschool, and College‑wide team activities. Faculty provide instruction, expertise, and leadership within their program and content area. Faculty remain current in their area of expertise and in education through professional growth and continuous learning activities. They contribute to the College community through committee involvement, leadership activities, academic advisement of students, and sponsorship of student activities, as well as community service opportunities.
Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesEmployees are expected to perform the following duties:
- Teach and supervise Dental Therapy students in the on‑site clinic.
- Develop and deliver curriculum aligned with program objectives.
- Conduct assessments, provide feedback, and support student progress.
- Participate in program and College‑wide committees and activities.
- Engage in professional development and continuous learning.
• Prior experience in dental therapy education or clinical practice.
• Strong communication and instructional skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
