We are seeking a part‑time instructor to teach courses focused on dairy technology, robotics, and production systems.
Job SummaryThe part‑time dairy instructor is responsible for creating a performance‑based learning environment in accordance with the educational objectives of the College.
Responsibilities- Plan learning‑centered instruction aligned with course competencies, including activities and methods for diverse learning styles.
- Maintain accurate attendance and student records; submit required reports timely.
- Meet with assigned classes and maintain a safe, clean classroom/laboratory/shop environment.
- Use the course textbook, outlines, syllabi, and other materials per college guidelines.
- Utilize learning technologies for teaching, delivery, assessment, and student record‑keeping (e.g., Canvas, Starfish, Cengage, Teams).
- Communicate and provide consistent and timely feedback to students.
- Knowledge of dairy industry technology, robotics, and cow‑tracking production systems.
- Experience teaching or training in a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with online/distance learning platforms (Canvas, Starfish, etc.) is desirable.
Plan, deliver, and assess coursework; maintain safety and equipment security; maintain student success records.
