Thank you for your interest in a career at Northcentral Technical College (NTC).
NTC offers outstanding career opportunities to work in a stimulating and diverse environment with state‑of‑the‑art facilities. If you have a desire to help students while positively impacting the community, we’d love for you to join our team!
Professional tutors facilitate student learning by assisting students in the Academic Resource Center (ARC) in a given subject area between 1–10 hours per week in both one‑on‑one and small‑group settings. Tutors, under the direction of Timberwolf Learning Commons leadership, will coordinate with academic areas and instructors to aid students in meeting learning competencies. In addition, tutors document student progress and session data for grant purposes and market Academic Resource Center in classes and to the college community.
Additional duties as assigned.
Note:
Hours will be determined by the supervisor and candidate, subject to change as workload and needs of our students and work areas change. This position involves local travel.
While there may not be an immediate need for a student employee in every area, NTC accepts applications regardless, in order to create a pool for when there may be a need. Upon successful submission of your application, you will be considered for future part‑time student employee opportunities and your application will be on file as a potential candidate who could possibly fill a position if or when the need arises.
