*** This Maintenance Technician position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling all preventive maintenance activities to optimize manufacturing capabilities.
** Major Responsibilities:
*** Responsible for maintaining the maintenance storeroom organization and inventory.
* Implementing preventative maintenance and scheduling all preventive maintenance activities
* Liaising with service providers to ensure all parts and supplies are on hand for preventive maintenance activities
* Perform regular inspections of equipment and supplies
* Responsible for the accurate and timely collection of equipment data and ensures data is recorded in the CMMS in a well-organized manner so it can be easily retrieved and utilized to facilitate maintenance of the systems
* Purchasing any equipment, tools, or materials that may be required.
* Updating maintenance logs for all machinery
* Establishing protocols for non-mechanical maintenance
* Assessing procedures and making recommendations for improvement
* Actively participate in scheduling meetings with operation partners to finalize the priority of work orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary lead times
** Requirements:
*** Be able and willing to demonstrate excellent organizational skills
* Ensuring quality control standards are consistently met
* High school diploma or high school equivalent
* Relevant licenses and certificates may be required
* Courses in mechanical drawing, woodworking, electricity, and blueprint reading, recommended
* Maintenance experience recommended
* Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMMS and SAP systems
