Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a PROVIDER RESOURCE COORDINATOR to join the Central Verification team!

The Provider Resource Coordinator conducts credentialing verification activities for the centralized verification office (CVO) on behalf of the Aspirus system and private practice customers. These credentialing services include primary source verifications, preparation for privileging, and requirements for Aspirus Network payor credentialing. Coordinates accurate verification of provider files for initial appointment and for reappointment within established time frames and in accordance with the standards required by the accrediting/regulatory agencies.

Management of renewable documentation including licensure, government checks, health requirements etc. Independent decision making is an expectation.

Hours

Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of credentialing standards and practices. Including NCQA, Joint Commission etc.
  • Experience in a medical office environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office required.
  • Critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Professional and competent manners.
  • Requires an individual who is self‑motivated and directed and assumes responsibility and exercises authority over assigned work functions, is accurate and detail‑oriented, possesses ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, work with, and maintain confidentiality, prepare enrollment applications, and examine documents for accuracy and completeness.
