Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts

• 13-week contract length with guaranteed 36 hours per week

Start date:

ASAP

• Contract ends on Sunday (not Saturday)

• Work every other weekend and every other holiday

• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units

• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back

• Patient ratio of 4:1

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS

• Minimum 2+ years experience required (firm requirement)

• Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required

• ICU experience preferred

• Trauma Level II experience preferred

• Ventilator/Trach experience required

• At least 1 prior travel experience required

• EPIC charting experience preferred

• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility

• Any color scrubs allowed

• Fast-paced unit requiring hard workers who are resilient and manage change well

• Must be able to work independently and complete tasks timely

• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke

• Heavy telemetry monitoring responsibilities

• Manage primary patients and insulin drips
