Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts

• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week

• 4:1 patient ratio on a 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units

• May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back

• Contract must be outside 50-mile radius of facility

• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience required

• Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required

• ICU experience preferred

• At least 1 prior travel assignment required

• Ventilator/Trach experience required

• Trauma Level II experience preferred

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS

• EPIC charting experience preferred

• Associate degree or certificate required;
Bachelor's degree preferred

• Any color scrubs permitted

• Care for patients with heavy telemetry monitoring, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeds, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injuries, and stroke

• Manage insulin drips and primary patient care

• Must be able to work independently in fast-paced environment
