** Production Manager I
** will oversee and manage 2nd shift production employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. Hours for this position are 3pm-1am, Monday-Thursday, subject to change as business needs dictate.
** Responsibilities
* ** Hires, onboards, trains, and manages production employees on the assigned shift.
* Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift.
* Provides constructive and timely performance evaluation and feedback.
* Coordinates production schedules.
* Develops training plans to meet safety, regulatory and production requirements.
* Leads and participates on cross functional quality improvement teams.
* Communicates standard operating procedures and plant rules to all production team members ensuring that they are implemented and strictly adhered to.
* Maintains a safe and clean working environment for all plant employees and visitors.
* Ensures all safety rules are followed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
** Required Skills/Abilities:
*** Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
* Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Computers and related software to complete reports and logs.

* Education and Experience:

*** Associates degree OR equivalent education or experience.
* 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Prior exceptional work experience with the company preferred.

* Physical Requirements:

*** 40-50 hours a week depending on production demands.
* Must be able to traverse the production facility.
