Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer‑controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi‑automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.

• Basic operation of simple machinery and equipment, such as presses, lathes, or cutters.
• Follow standardized procedures for setting up and operating machines.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating machines.
• Read simple work orders or production instructions.
• Ensure product meets or exceeds established product specifications.
• Pay attention to detail to maintain machine operation accuracy and product quality.
• Report machine malfunctions and identify basic problem‑solving steps.
• Be cross‑trained and able to support all Operator I roles.

• 1st Shift: 6 am – 2 pm
• 2nd Shift: 2 pm – 10 pm
• 3rd Shift: 10 pm – 6 am
• A/B Days: 6 am – 6 pm (2‑2‑3 cycle)
• A/B Nights: 6 pm – 6 am (2‑2‑3 cycle)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures).
• Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.).
• Ability to follow blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
