Novonesis is hiring a Production Operator to work Friday through Sunday (5 am–5 pm) in the Bottle Packaging department. The position follows close supervision and is part of a 5‑am shift on weekends.

• Set up, operate, adjust, clean, and sanitize equipment to package products in accordance with quality standards and procedures.
• Accurately weigh and/or count product.
• Perform minimal maintenance and preventatively maintain equipment as required.
• Verify lot and batch numbers, maintain accurate production records, and log equipment. Print and apply labels to products.
• Assist in developing and improving SOPs.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols, participate in safety training, and report any incidents or hazards immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities using Lean concepts and principles.
• Troubleshoot and/or identify equipment failures or problems.
• Adhere to all GMP, including sanitary requirements, safety, and standardized work procedures.

• Read, write, and speak English.
• Apply basic mathematical concepts to the production process, including conversion of weight and volume in the metric system.
• Read and follow a production journal to produce batches.
• Operate a pallet walker and/or forklift (preferred).
• Use basic hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench) for assembly and disassembly of equipment.
• Communicate effectively with co‑workers regarding the status of the production process.
• Basic computer skills. ERP (SAP) knowledge is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED with experience in a production environment (preferred).

$19 per hour plus shift premium

Production unit with frequent exposure to wet, humid, dusty, or loud conditions, moving machine parts, fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment such as dust masks/PAPR, hearing protection, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes are required.

Requires standing, walking, talking, hearing, lifting, and moving materials or equipment up to 50 lbs. Occasional kneeling, crouching, crawling, and use of hands to operate machinery. Adequate vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment are necessary.
