Join us as our new Blending Operator. This role is responsible for operating in the Blending department and works 1st shift (Monday-Thursday, 5am to 3pm).

In This Role You'll Make An Impact By

• Setting up (assembling and disassembling), operating, adjusting, cleaning and sanitizing equipment to produce products within quality standards and according to procedures.
• Accurately measuring and mixing raw materials following batch production recipes and formulations.
• Performing minimal maintenance and preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment as required, and when appropriate.
• Assisting others in the areas trained as required by production demands or by direction of the Supervisor.
• Printing and applying labels to product.
• Verifying lot and batch numbers and maintains accurate production records, and equipment logs.
• Assisting with developing and improving SOPs.
• Participating in continuous improvement activities using Lean concepts and principles.
• Troubleshooting and/or identifying equipment failures or problems.
• Taking necessary samples for QC testing as needed.
• Completing necessary paperwork and/or data entry for production and/or inventory records.

To Succeed You Must Hold

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to the production process including conversion of weight and volume in the metric system.
• Ability to read and follow a production journal to produce batches.
• Ability to operate a pallet walker and/or forklift, preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench) for assembly and disassembly of equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers regarding the status of the production process.
• Basic computer skills. ERP system knowledge (SAP), preferred.
