DetailsJob Title: Registered Nurse Medical-Surgical
Location: Aspirus Wausau Hospital, 33 Pine Ridge Boulevard, Wausau, WI 54401
Department: Medical-Surgical
Assignment: 13 - Week assignment
Schedule: 12 Hour Nights, 19:00 - 07:30
- Specialties: The hospital is recognized for its specialized services, including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, women’s health, and neurology. It is also a designated Level II Trauma Center.
- Facilities: Aspirus Wausau Hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, advanced diagnostic imaging, and state-of-the-art surgical facilities.
- Community Role: The hospital plays a vital role in community health through initiatives in wellness, education, and preventive care.
- Provide patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions
- Manage patients with a variety of conditions in a dynamic, fast-paced medical-surgical environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and ensure documentation compliance
- Active Wisconsin RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Preferred: 2+ years of medical-surgical or hospital experience, including trauma care at a Level II facility
