Job Title: Registered Nurse Intermediate Care
Location: Aspirus Wausau Hospital, 33 Pine Ridge Boulevard, Wausau, WI 54401
Department: Intermediate Care
Assignment Dates: 13-Week assignment from 5/19/2025 to 8/16/2025 (5) and 5/27/2025 to 8/23/2025 (3)
Shift: 12 Hour Nights, 19:00 - 07:30

The Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a stepdown, progressive, or intermediate care unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about care plans
- Active RN license in Wisconsin
- Experience in ICU, progressive care, or step-down units (preferred)
- BLS/ACLS certification
