Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts

• 36 guaranteed hours per week

• 6-week contract length

• Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation required

• Subject to low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour minimum call back

• Contract includes 36 hours of low census unbillable hours

• No float requirements

• Minimum 2 years OB experience with Labor and Delivery required

• Required certifications: AHA BLS, Advanced NRP, Wisconsin RN license

• Labor and Delivery competency required

• EPIC charting experience preferred

• Associate degree or certificate required

• Any color scrubs permitted

• Must comply with facility mask policy during flu season if declining vaccinations

• Guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week or when unit is closed for holidays

• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive obstetrics department with an 11-bed Labor and Delivery unit and 8-bed postpartum unit, handling approximately 1,350 deliveries annually with an average monthly delivery rate of 112 patients. The facility utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and maintains variable daily census levels to accommodate fluctuating patient volumes. The organization emphasizes quality maternal and newborn care with modern equipment and specialized obstetric services.
