Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Post Surgical Care Unit team!

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a member of the patient care team and is responsible for assisting with providing patient care under the general direction of a Registered Nurse. The LPN works within the Professional Practice Model of Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

HOURS:

Supplemental or .3 FTE; 24 hours Bi-Weekly;
Varied Shifts

• Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Successful completion of an IV therapy and pharmacology course.
• Previous experience beneficial.
• Current Wisconsin LPN licensure, or application made and awaiting results.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
