Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts with 48 guaranteed hours per week

• Overtime available after 48 hours worked

• 13-week contract length starting February 23, 2026

• Contract ends on Sunday instead of Saturday

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units

• Subject to low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour minimum call back

• Patient ratio of 4:1

• Work in 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry

• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke

• Manage primary patients and insulin drips

• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility

• 2+ years experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience required

• ICU experience preferred, Trauma Level II preferred

• At least 1 prior travel experience required

• Ventilator/trach experience required

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS

• EPIC charting experience preferred

• Any color scrubs allowed

• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

• Must be hard worker, resilient, manage change well, and able to work independently in fast-paced environment

• Flu and COVID vaccination required or must wear mask at all times during flu season
