Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts with 48 guaranteed hours per week

• Overtime paid after 48 hours worked

• 13-week contract length with contract ending on Sunday (not Saturday)

• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility location

• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units

• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule

• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum callback

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable time

• Care for 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry

• Manage patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke

• Handle primary patients and insulin drips with 4:1 patient ratio

• Work in fast-paced environment requiring independent management and timely task completion

Required:

Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS certifications

•

Required:

2+ years experience, stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience, ventilator/trach experience, at least 1 prior travel experience

• Preferred: ICU experience, Trauma Level II experience, EPIC charting experience

• Required education:
Associate Degree or Certificate (Bachelor's Degree preferred)

• Scrubs: any color acceptable

• Flu season mask requirement if declining flu and COVID vaccination
