Parts-Outside Sales Representative

Ascendance Truck Centers is looking for a full-time, Outside Parts Sales professional. As an Outside Parts Sales professional, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to current and new customers.

• Attain the sales and gross profit objectives set by the Parts Manager.
• Regular calls to established accounts.
• Establish new accounts and qualify them.
• Sell all products available to the current application.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers.
• Maintain familiarity with all vendor products, merchandising programs, dealership parts ordering, inventory systems and the dealership’s credit policies.
• Keep in daily contact with major accounts.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Call on prospects/leads within the territory.
• Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion required parts, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Promote our brand and visibility.
• Keep current on new products and product updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a strong technical aptitude. Diesel and Transportation Industry preferred.
• Experience with outside sales and customer service with proven track record of success.
• Must pass a background check, preployment drug test.
• Driver's Required; and acceptable driving record.
• Customer-focused – Ability to solve customer issues proactively with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
