Job SummaryThe Administrative Assistant‑Academics position is a flexible, part‑time, in‑person position that requires a minimum of three days per week on campus. This role supports the Academic Coordinator on a variety of projects that contribute to the College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, and Nursing programs, as well as Student Services.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities- Maintenance of academic records includes managing enrollment, term assignments, and program completion documentation.
- Data entry and tracking projects are essential for effective management of academic and student information.
- Providing customer service to students encompassing assistance with school account login, documentation of clinical requirements, and addressing general inquiries about the College atmosphere.
- Event planning, including order placement, set‑up coordination and room reservations.
- Providing support in the College testing center as a proctor to prospective students.
A candidate must possess the minimum requirement of an associate degree.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software and the ability to frequently enter data are required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and interact well with others.
- Flexibility is needed to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
