Office Assistant

This entry level position performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties for all departments. Maintains positive contact with clients, attorneys, and staff and observes confidentiality of client matters. The duties include, but are not limited to, operating a computer, fax machine and telephone. In addition, scanning, assisting in file destruction, organizing and trial preparation. The position includes physical activity, involving lifting boxes and files, reaching and bending.

Some standing and walking related to use of copy/supply and conference rooms, attending to work in attorney or supervisors’ offices, and performing errands and mail runs.

A well-qualified candidate will have strong communication skills, be highly organized, be willing utilize various office computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite, and comfortable wearing many hats. Office experience with multi-line phone use is highly preferred, ability to learn reception duties as needed. Office experience with law firm or professional services experience a plus. A valid driver’s license is required. This is a Monday – Friday in office position.
