Employment Type: Full-time (0.8625 FTE)
Schedule: 34.5 hours per week, Shift 2 (7 on 7 off):
- Mon: 9:30‑10 p.m.
- Tue: 1 p.m.‑10 p.m.
- Wed: 1 p.m.‑10 p.m.
- Thu: 1 p.m.‑10 p.m.
- Fri: 9:30‑10 p.m.
- Sat: 7 a.m.‑5:30 p.m.
- Sun: 7 a.m.‑5:30 p.m.
Under the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepare patients, perform imaging procedures, and operate imaging equipment. Perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while ensuring appropriate radiation protection measures. Adhere to organizational customer service standards, provide positive interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff, and perform ancillary services as needed. Perform in at least two modalities and meet advanced certification requirements for Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X‑ray, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, and MRI.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients and conduct imaging procedures across multiple modalities.
- Operate MRI equipment and perform cardiac, breast, prostate, and sports medicine studies on Open, 1.5T, and 3T scanners.
- Maintain high customer service standards and uphold organizational excellence initiatives.
- Assist in patient care areas and perform ancillary services as necessary.
- Participate in training and refresher programs for occasional basic X‑ray duties.
- Support departmental stability and team longevity.
One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.
EducationPost‑high‑school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1‑2 years of college/university coursework or a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare‑related field is preferred.
License and Certification- ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer (required).
- Advanced Registration by the ARRT in applicable modalities (Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X‑ray, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, and MRI) required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
