Our friendly and compassionate nurses collaborate closely with care team staff to ensure the highest level of quality care, safety and support are provided to our residents. Our LPNs don't just support our resident's health-they are a partner to our resident's social and personal needs as well, ensuring a person-centered approach for all residents who call Luther Manor home.

• Current Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse license.

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification

• Work with the realization that errors may have serious consequences for residents and coworkers.

• The ability to speak to and hear residents and staff; also, to read and write English.

• The ability to deal tactfully and effectively with residents and staff.

• The mobility to spend an average of 70% of the work shift standing and/or moving about the work area.

• The physical strength to move or assist residents as needed following their plan of cares.

• Must be able to push, pull or lift 35 pounds.

• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice and regulations through attendance at seminars, in-services, etc.
