Senior Human Resources Generalist - Corporate
As a Senior Human Resources Generalist your goal is to provide human resources support to our corporate functions of the Turf and Consumer business unit. You’ll partner with leaders and support employees - while continuously working towards the pursuit of superior HR service delivery. #LI-MD1 #LI-Hybrid
Responsibilities- Serving as the primary resource for managers and employees related to the functional HR areas; developing reports and analyzing as required.
- Recommending action within HR and/or to managers and employees; providing proactive resolution of employee concerns and problems with the goal of future problem prevention.
- Developing and delivering written communications and presentations to communicate concepts related to one or more functional HR areas for managers and employees.
- Developing and conducting training and presentations.
- Assisting with the recruitment for employees.
- Coaching employees and managers in developing goals and objectives and providing coaching on performance management processes; may lead calibrations.
- Working with managers and the compensation team to ensure total compensation for the business is competitive in total compensation for the employee base.
- Identifying, facilitating, and resolving compensation and benefits issues quickly.
- Developing, documenting and recommending continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures or programs to deliver innovative solutions to meet needs.
- Supporting outsourced processes, such as, FMLA/LOA and Workers Compensation providing feedback when issues arise along with solutions.
- Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Acting as a mentor or resource to other HR Generalists to include answering questions, coaching, and providing guidance on day-to-day activities.
- Leading HR projects of varying size and scope that may be global and/or span across business units.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management/related field OR equivalent education and experience
- Minimum five years, with seven or more preferred, related professional, progressive experience in human resources setting
- Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Experience in development of principles and practices of human resources functions and/or a specific function within HR
- Experience leading HR Projects
- Strong computer skills - including experience with HR related systems
- Demonstrated skills in employee relations with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Very strong organization and time management/project management skills necessary to prioritize and manage multiple, complex projects, potentially with conflicting priorities; ability to react quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate work with diverse groups of employees
- Ability to exhibit sound judgment and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential situations and information
- Proven ability to work independently and apply fact-based decision making
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
