LocationMilwaukee, WI – 100% onsite. Candidates must be current Wisconsin residents or be willing to relocate at their own expense. Onsite position at the Fleet location on Watertown Plank Rd. in Wauwatosa.
Project DetailsThe Desktop Support Technician is the first point of contact for IT support, providing Tier 1 client support for installation, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and upgrade of all PC hardware and equipment. The role focuses on refreshing PCs as part of the asset lifecycle program and ensuring optimal workstation performance, hardware, software, printing, connectivity, mobile technology, and user account setup and authorization. The Technician will also handle all requests, incidents, and problems through to resolution, building and imaging PCs and laptops, setting up and maintaining printers and peripherals, and performing user account maintenance.
The position commits to addressing recurring issues through consistent ITIL practices.
- 6 months to 5 years’ experience in Desktop support
- Deploying devices
- On‑the‑fly device repairs
- Workstation, printer, and peripheral maintenance and support
- General understanding of client/server environments
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- Solid understanding of Microsoft products, including Windows operating systems and the Office suite of applications
