Desktop Support

Our clientis seeking a Desktop Support to join their team. As a Desktop Support you will be part of the Imaging and Asset Management team supporting IT operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related support, providing tier 1 client support for technical issues.
• Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
• Support hardware, software, printing, connectivity, mobile technology, and user setup and authorization.
• Assist with refreshing PCs as part of the asset lifecycle program, ensuring equipment is up-to-date and functioning properly.
• Address recurring issues through consistent ITIL practices to improve end-user computing experiences.

• 6 months to 5 years of experience in desktop support, deploying devices, and on-the-fly device repairs.
• Knowledge of workstation, printer, and peripheral maintenance and support skills.
• Understanding of Client/Server environments and experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft products, including Windows operating systems and Office applications.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Milwaukee County Fleet location in Wauwatosa, WI, or relocate at own expense.
