Job Responsibilities
- Writes user instructions and trains and audits employees on use of gauges.
- Reviews product drawings and draws sketches for new or revised gauges.
- Maintains inventories and records of gauges, and prepares gauge lists.
- Performs temporary measurement setups.
- Processes and follows up on equipment orders and services
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to give attention to detail and maintain process quality
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Ability to understand LEAN principles to perform job duties for continuous improvement
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
General Education Degree
Experience Requirements- Previous Quality experience preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
Generally good working conditions.
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
