Position Duration: 10/24/2016 to 10/22/2017
Rate: $16.22/hr
Requirements:- Associates degree or higher in electronics or a relevant field
- 3-5 years of relevant electronic assembly experience, preferably in the medical industry
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Proficient in reading work instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner
- Steel-toed boots and safety glasses
Additional notes:
- GE will conduct on-site interviews
- Candidates who receive offers must start immediately after drug testing and background checks
- Availability for week and weekend overtime
- Open to general labor tasks such as unpacking and packaging medical equipment for shipment
- First shift hours
This contractor will assemble ultrasound devices in a climate-controlled, clean environment. The ideal candidate is a fast learner capable of handling a fast-paced work environment.
Job Duties:- Assemble electronics according to product specifications
- Assemble fabricated parts into small or light subassemblies and complete units
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and specifications
- Use hand tools and small power tools for assembly
