As a PRN Clinical Nurse, you will be working in a fast‑paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism and collaboration. Hours will be determined based on availability and need. The PRN Clinical Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments and reports to the Clinic Nurse Manager. The nurse must function independently in the role, seeking assistance from the physicians, manager and team members as needed.

Must be well organized, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, possess great customer service skills, and excellent communication skills.

• Educate patients on infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols and procedures.
• Oversee patients’ cycling process – injection training, consent reviews, medication questions, and answer general cycle questions throughout the cycle.
• Coordinate patient treatment plans such as egg freezing, IUI, in‑vitro fertilization and frozen embryo transfers.
• Provide patient/couple counselling, procedure teaching, and communicate physician orders and instructions.
• Ensure all patient information is documented appropriately in our EMR according to our procedures.
• Perform routine phlebotomy and injections as needed.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
• Work independently to assure the program goals are achieved and support excellence in customer service.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the clinical team, assisting with lab reviews and patient communications.
• Maintain informed consents, review patient checklists, and consistently communicate next steps to patients.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative assessment and care for postoperative patients.
• Document pre‑op assessments, interventions and postoperative recovery accurately.
• Discharge patients with provider approval as conditions dictate.
• Ensure all consent forms are completed and signed, including IVF retrieval consents.
• Perform and document post‑op calls with patients.
• Handle emergent situations calmly and efficiently, responding quickly and demonstrating knowledge of emergency procedures and equipment.

• Current RN license in Wisconsin.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, with a passion for women's health preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in fertility nursing highly preferred.
• Experience with EMR and G‑Suite.
• Strong communication skills and a team player.
• Willingness to be flexible and roll with the punches.
• Detail oriented, with strong customer service skills and professionalism.
• Organized and knowledgeable in nursing care of surgical patients.
• High level of independent judgment and accuracy.
• Positive, professional communication with all staff members and patients.
• Exhibits courteous, compassionate and respectful treatment of internal and external customers, displaying a positive attitude and flexibility in changing situations.
