Minimum Experience:
1-2 years, previous Emergency Department experience required, experience with pediatrics required. Level I Trauma experience preferred
1 previous completed travel assignment required
Charting: EPIC is highly preferred

* Required Skillset:
Care for pediatric emergency department patients, including assessment, medication administration, teaching, wound care, EKG, obtaining vs, providing mental and behavior health care, etc. Provides nursing care in a setting where there is potential for exposure to blood and other high-risk body fluids, communicable disease and hazardous materials, chemicals and waste. There is potential for personal injury from equipment or instruments, especially if proper procedure is not followed.
Work may include exposure to temperature extremes, crowded workspace, noxious odors, or high noise level.

Level
1. Efficient, fast paced 50 bed ED. Census is very high this time of year. Majority of their cases are low acuity, but also see high acuity as well. PEDS experience required. Currently seeing 200-280 visits / day. ED techs and nurses. Ideally run with 18 nurses on peak time and 6 care partners (CNA's/Techs). 3 nurses per one tech. Split up department in different areas;
fast track area, and higher acuity are. Fast track closes by 1 am. Scrub Colors:
