Assistant Director of Nursing
Position Overview
Assistant Director of Nursing: A skilled nursing facility in the greater Milwaukee area needs a strong RN leader to partner with the DON and keep nursing operations running smoothly every day.
What You Will Do- Support the DON in leading the RN, LPN and CNA team
- Supervise daily clinical operations and step in to lead when the DON is out
- Audit documentation, care plans and clinical records
- Help with nurse staffing, scheduling and new-hire onboarding
- Support survey readiness, QAPI and staff education
As our Assistant Director of Nursing, you will grow your leadership skills alongside an experienced DON and administrator.
QualificationsAssistant Director of Nursing: here is what we are looking for.
- Active Wisconsin RN license or a multistate (compact) RN license
- Nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care (ADON, Unit Manager or Nursing Supervisor)
- Knowledge of CMS regulations and the survey process
- Strong communication and organization skills
