Director of Nursing
Position Overview
Director of Nursing: A skilled nursing facility in the greater Milwaukee area is looking for an experienced nurse leader to run its nursing department and set the clinical standard for the building.
What You Will Do
- Lead, coach and hold accountable the RN, LPN and CNA team across all shifts
- Own clinical quality, survey readiness and compliance with CMS and Wisconsin requirements
- Oversee care plans, clinical documentation and MDS accuracy with the IDT
- Manage nurse staffing, scheduling, hiring and retention
- Lead QAPI, infection prevention oversight and staff education

Qualifications
Director of Nursing: here is what we are looking for.
- Active Wisconsin RN license or a multistate (compact) RN license
- Prior DON or ADON experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Working knowledge of CMS regulations and the survey process
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
