PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENTProvides business and financial expertise in analyses and reporting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Provides business and financial expertise in analyses and reporting.
- Identifies areas within the Division that would benefit from business analysis.
- Assists in strategic business analysis and planning projects.
- Reviews, analyzes, and interprets sales reports and other financial data.
- Offers business and process recommendations.
- Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
- Prepares, tracks and communicates customer prepaid and deferred product programs.
- Assists in the development of presentations for management.
- Determines and recommends any necessary improvements in internal controls or processes and performs some internal audit procedures to ensure controls and procedures are being followed.
- Reviews pricing parameters and controls and follows up on special pricing with volume accounts.
- Verifies and sets up procedures to determine and comply with government regulations as it relates to documentation and licenses.
- Sets up and completes inventory counts and observations.
- Compiles data for all Tier II reports and sends to the safety department to file.
- Works with the precision department on billing parts and labor, also tracks and reconciles precision programs.
- Reconciles all 3rd party services - Custom NH3, Striptill, Aerial, AgLime and Trucking.
- Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or business administration (or equivalent) and 3 years of experience in accounting, or previous experience in a leadership/management capacity demonstrating knowledge of business analytics and advanced finance skills.
- Understanding of the GROWMARK System and Divisions' operations preferred.
- Demonstrated essential abilities: business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, skill development.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to travel independently, including overnight stays.
- Willingness to work beyond normal hours.
- Willingness to participate in required training on GROWMARK policies, procedures, and other job‑related training.
