As a Convertor Operator, you will operate and maintain convertors and related equipment, ensuring accurate weighing, blending, and instantizing of powders for packaging according to Nestlé USA specifications.

• Set correct ingredient weights on Hardy Scale panel and monitor the drawing/updating sequence.
• Coordinate with Instant Feed Operator for ingredient sourcing and draw queue.
• Regulate Merchen Feeder, tray inlet air pressure, temperature, and hood vacuum for ideal drying conditions.
• Control convertor belt vari-drive motors to ensure proper slaking on belt.
• Ensure proper screens in rotex and Azo sifters for desired product density.
• Adjust water pressure, temperature, volume, and spinner/orifice combinations in the hydrator tower.
• Operate lecithin system, ensuring correct dosage and maintenance of barrels.
• Conduct periodic product sample tests to meet quality specifications.
• Replenish filter media in plenum room and repack equipment as needed.
• Assist with daily and weekend cleaning of work area.
• Perform sanitation and changeover duties on convertor/processing equipment.
• Use MES/SAP system for ingredient usage calculations.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Maintain accurate production records, ensure equipment operates correctly, comply with safety and environmental policies, and handle record-keeping and material handling as outlined in the duties.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Strong preference for past experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Basic proficiency in English for written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for frequent periods, work overtime, and shift across various times.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

3rd shift: 12 am‑8 am with rotating mandatory overtime. Pay rate: $28.62 per hour.
