Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring both scrub and circulate skills, with current IA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in the Operating Room within a hospital setting

• Responsibilities include both scrubbing and circulating duties

• Typical work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

• On-call required 1-2 times per week and every 4th weekend

• Must be able to verify license and certifications with issuing bodies

• On-call duties are an integral part of this role

• Responsibilities include supporting surgical procedures in both scrub and circulating capacities

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience

• Ability to perform both scrub and circulate roles in the OR
