We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our bookkeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Bookkeeping department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic guidance to support the organization's goals. This role requires a strong understanding of various accounting principles and practices, sales tax, payroll, 1099s, 941s, etc.

• Manage all aspects of the bookkeeping team, reviewing accounting and books, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
• Keeping up on project due dates ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the preparation of Monthly and quarterly accounting projects, as well as other client needs.
• Mentor and develop bookkeeping staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Handle tax-related matters and ensure timely filing of tax returns.
• Utilize various accounting software such as Quick Books, Accounting CS, Practice, etc.

• Strong knowledge of Sales and payroll tax, quarterly and monthly accounting, required tax and accounting due dates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills for accounting and bookkeeping.
• Strong understanding of hour budget processes.
