Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 / Per Hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Waxahachie, TX (On-site)

About the RoleAddison Group is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our client’s team in a healthcare setting. This position is responsible for managing the full revenue cycle process, including billing, claims processing, payment posting, and collections.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit accurate claims to insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers.
- Review patient accounts for accuracy and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resubmit as needed.
- Post payments from insurance companies and patients; reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing statements and assist with payment plans.
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts while maintaining positive patient relationships.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of billing activities, payments, and communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and participate in meetings to improve processes.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in medical accounts receivable, insurance appeals, and refunds.
- Experience with insurance claims processing, payment posting, and collections.
- Coding experience is a plus; ophthalmology coding experience is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation required.
