Forklift Operator at Georgia‑Pacific LLC – we’re looking for a safety‑oriented individual to join our team in Waxahachie, TX.
Salary
: $23.34 per hour. 2nd and 3rd shift differential $2 per hour, bringing total to $25.34. Compensation may increase with skills and performance.
Shift
:
Flexible for either 2nd (3 p.m.–11 p.m.) or 3rd (11 p.m.–7 a.m.) shift.
Location
: 5800 S Interstate 35 E, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
- Safely operate a 10,000 lb. sit‑down forklift to load and unload trailers
- Ensure loads are properly secured and in good condition
- Maintain accurate record‑keeping for all inbound and outbound shipments
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards
- Pull whip and raw material for production support
- Verify receipts, load sheets, and other required paperwork
- Minimum of two (2) years of sit‑down forklift experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Exceptional knowledge using a computer, tablet, or scan gun for documentation and/or record‑keeping functions
- Five (5) years of forklift experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience using KIWI or a similar load operating system
- Experience operating a clamp truck
