ResponsibilitiesAs part of our world‑class, performance‑focused team you’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing operations—setting up, operating, and adjusting equipment to produce high‑quality products efficiently and safely. You’ll lead daily production activities on assigned lines, support and train Machine Line Operators (MLOs), and help troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll work closely with a dedicated team in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact our success.
As part of the Production Team you will be responsible for:
- Must be willing to work twelve‑hour shifts (days or nights) and overtime when needed.
- Must be able to efficiently navigate JDE to read and view production schedules, blends and BOMs, ensuring lines run efficiently in all aspects.
- Must be able to safely and efficiently start and stop extruders, upstream and all downstream equipment.
- Must be able to start lines up quickly and put them into production with minimal scrap.
- Must be able to safely and efficiently maintain and run up to three lines, including process control documents and performing and documenting all required quality checks.
- Must be able to safely and efficiently troubleshoot lines and all accessory equipment to maintain production goals.
- Must be able to work with little supervision in a fast‑paced environment to maintain production goals.
- Must be able to communicate efficiently with leadership at all times.
- Must be willing to relieve fellow team members as needed and instructed.
- Must be willing to safely complete any other task as assigned by leadership that you have been trained to do.
- High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Forklift operation experience preferred; training may be provided.
- Prior experience with extrusion equipment is a plus.
- Basic troubleshooting skills, especially with extrusion equipment, are beneficial.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands‑on work.
- Experience working collaboratively in team‑oriented environments is valued.
- Familiarity with extrusion or converting equipment and processes is helpful.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, but not required.
