Alpha Bravo Construction, a growing general contractor based in Houston, TX, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Superintendent to lead field operations for our upcoming commercial construction project,
Waxhaw Daycare
, located in Waxhaw, NC. This role will oversee the execution of a high-quality educational and childcare facility, ensuring that the build meets rigorous safety, structural, and finish standards from initial site preparation through final occupancy inspection.

The ideal candidate brings strong field leadership in commercial construction, exceptional subcontractor management skills, and a commitment to maintaining safe, organized, and schedule-compliant jobsites. You will direct daily field activities, enforce quality control, and serve as the primary on-site point of contact for trade partners, municipal inspectors, and project stakeholders.

• Manage and oversee daily field operations for the Waxhaw Daycare construction project, ensuring seamless execution from early sitework through final turnover.
• Direct trade contractors, vendors, material deliveries, and site logistics across all project phases—including earthwork, utilities, foundations, framing, and interior finishes.
• Supervise trade work covering structural systems, concrete, exterior envelope, drywall, flooring, child-safe interior finishes, and specialized MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installations.
• Monitor progress continuously to ensure work strictly aligns with architectural plans, engineering details, local codes, and project schedules.
• Conduct rigorous quality-control inspections to ensure all workmanship meets company standards and contract documents.
• Enforce strict compliance with OSHA standards, local Waxhaw / Union County building codes, and jobsite safety protocols.
• Coordinate municipal inspections, manage punch lists, handle project closeout tasks, and maintain accurate daily logs, safety reports, and field documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, ownership representatives, architects, engineers, and local officials.

• 3–7 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in commercial construction, ground-up builds, tenant improvements, or educational/institutional facilities.
• Solid understanding of building sequencing, site development, structural systems, and commercial finish execution.
• Proven track record of coordinating multiple trades, subcontractors, and site logistics on active construction sites.
• Ability to read, interpret, and build according to commercial construction drawings, structural plans, MEP drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Experience constructing educational facilities, daycare centers, or similar community-focused commercial spaces.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• First Aid / CPR / AED Certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera P6).
